At FGS Consulting, we believe in using site specific data collection and analysis. We pair that with our expertise in agronomy to help our partners produce the highest quality and safest playing surfaces possible.​
We are able to analyze numerous factors that impact playability including surface hardness, soil moisture content, soil chemical and physical properties, traffic patterns, photosynthetic active radiation, surface smoothness and trueness and more to help paint a complete picture of what is happening at your facility.

Kyle Foreman
My career in turf began in 2011 and since then, I have been working to learn all I can about the science of managing turfgrass and quality surfaces.
​
I am a professional agronomy consultant and part of the Amplify agronomy consultant network affiliated with Brookside Laboratories.
​
I have a Master's degree in Turfgrass Management from Penn State University. I am a Certified Professional Turfgrass Manager by the Texas Turfgrass Association. And, I completed the certificate program in Turfgrass Management from the University of Georgia in 2019.
​
I am an active member of the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America (GCSAA), the Lone Star Chapter of the GCSAA, the Texas Turfgrass Association, the Sports Field Management Association, and Texas Sports Field Management Association.
​
Above all else, my number one passion is learning. I love to learn every single day, so that I can better serve my clients and partners to manage the highest quality playing surfaces possible.

Brookside Labs & The Amplify Consultant Network
Amplify is a network of over 180 agronomic consultants and partners who offer soil, turf, and environmental recommendations and guidance for clients around the world. Our consultant network collectively works with over 2,600 golf courses world wide in addition to our numerous athletic field clients.

Brookside is the only laboratory in the world offering complete agricultural/turf, environmental, accredited (ISO 17025) geotechnical testing and soil health testing services.

The laboratory also participates in more proficiency programs than any other laboratory in the United States. These include: The North American Soil and Plant Testing Proficiency Program for soils, plants and waters, the Performance Assessment Program (PAP) for soils, the National Manure and Compost Proficiency Programs (MAP and CAP), and several individual state soil accreditation programs.

Brookside is one of only 8 laboratories world-wide certified for geotech testing which is mandated by the USGA. Also, Brookside is multistate certified for numerous environmental tests including metals, bacteria, and organics.
